09:15 Dr. Ton de Craen: Placebo/nocebo effects in headache (trials)

Ton de Craen studied Biomedical Sciences (major: Epidemiology) at Leiden University and received his MSc in 1990. In 1998 he received his PhD at the University of Amsterdam, for his thesis on Placebo effects. He held a post-doctoral position at the Department of Clinical Epidemiology of Leiden University Medical Center from 1999 to 2000. In 2001 he became Assistant Professor at the Department of Gerontology and Geriatrics of the Leiden University Medical Center, which turned into Associate Professor in 2007. He is currently heading the Department’s Study Center.
